National Electricity Market (NEM) Overview

The popular National Electricity Market (NEM) Overview course broadly covers the NEM and its operational requirements. The course is delivered either in-person on a single-day, or virtually via Microsoft Teams over two half-day sessions in the same week.

Enrolment in this course includes automatic enrolment in an associated eLearning course which is designed to introduce learners to background information, as well as the concepts and information that are covered during the course. Completion of the eLearning prior to the instructor-led course is not compulsory but is highly recommended, especially for those new to the energy sector.

Learning outcomes:

Attendees of the course will gain a broad understanding of how the NEM operates as a physical power system and a wholesale market for electricity.
