AEMO delivers a range of forecasting and planning publications for the National Electricity Market (NEM), including the NEM Electricity Statement of Opportunities (ESOO), the Gas Statement of Opportunities (GSOO), and the Integrated System Plan (ISP). This consultation relates to the inputs, assumptions and scenarios that AEMO proposes to use in its 2025-26 forecasting and planning activities, including the 2026 ISP.
In developing the Draft IASR and the proposed scenarios, AEMO has sought stakeholder input and feedback through several workshops and webinars, and consultation on the draft scenarios. For further information, see the 2026 ISP Stakeholder Engagement and Forecasting Reference Group webpages.
The Draft 2025 Inputs, Assumptions and Scenarios Report is being published and consulted on in two stages, as per the adjacent timeline.
Draft 2025 IASR stage 2 consultation submissions are due in PDF format to forecasting.planning@aemo.com.au by 6pm AEDT on 31 March 2025.
Please note that submissions will be published, other than confidential material, subject to AEMO’s Consultation submission guidelines.
