STPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the New South Wales Region on 31/10/2019
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR1 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following period:
From 1430 hrs to 1830 hrs 31/10/2019.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1432 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1137 MW.

PDPASA - Update of the Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 1 (LOR1) in the NSW Region on 30/10/2019
The Forecast LOR1 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 70774 has been updated at 1330 hrs to the following:
From 1100 hrs 30/10/2019 to 1230 hrs 30/10/2019.
The contingency forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1320 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1137 MW.
From 1600 hrs 30/10/2019 to 1700 hrs 30/10/2019.
The contingency forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1522 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 1421 MW.

This notice supersedes Market Notice 70647 published on 22 October 2019.
Background
As part of a broader process of implementing the reliability standard, AEMO runs the Medium Term Projected Assessment of System Adequacy (MTPASA) process weekly to forecast expected unserved energy levels over a two year period. If the expected annual unserved energy exceeds the maximum level specified by the Reliability Standard, a Low Reserve Condition is identified.
