National Electricity Market Overview - elearning and face-to-face

AEMO has postponed all face-to-face energy education courses during the COVID-19 health alert. Webinars will proceed as planned, and e-learning continues to be available.

Some courses have now been adapted for virtual instructor led delivery and course schedules will be updated regularly to reflect their current status.

Where a course has not yet re-commenced via virtual delivery, please contact energyeducation@aemo.com.au to be notified when registrations re-open, and include the name of the course(s) you are interested in.

The popular National Electricity Market (NEM) Overview course broadly covers the NEM and its operational requirements. The course runs for a full day (face-to-face) or for 2 half-day sessions in the same week (virtual).

Learning outcomes:

Please be advised that the NEM e-learning contains base information that is vital for you getting the most value from the follow up face-to-face sessions. We highly recommend that all attendees complete as many e-learning modules as possible before the face-to-face session to capitalise on the information provided on the day.
