Stakeholder consultation
AEMO is committed to working with industry, government, and energy consumers to deliver the best outcomes for Australian energy consumers and we thank those who contributed to the now completed Western Victoria Renewable Integration Regulatory Investment Test for Transmission (RIT-T).
In December 2019, following a multi-stage, competitive tender process, AEMO selected Mondo, the commercial division of the AusNet Services Group (AusNet Services), to consult on, design, seek planning approvals for, construct, own, operate and maintain the contestable transmission augmentations proposed by the Project Assessment Conclusion Report for the Western Victoria Renewable Integration RIT-T.
As the Project proponent, AusNet Services is also responsible for stakeholder consultation including community engagement and providing updates and information on the Western Victorian Transmission Network Project.
