Providing NEM information to project developers

The EGES Stakeholder Paper identified the opportunity to amend NER clause 2.7 to specifically allow a developer of a generating system to meet the intending participant eligibility requirements, which allows them access to the necessary NEM information.

On 31 December 2018, AEMO submitted a rule change proposal to the AEMC to address this. The AEMC is currently consulting on this rule change proposal. Further information on the rule change proposal is available on on AEMC’s website.
