Removal of Controlled Load Profile and Metering Installation Reversion Provisions - SA

The publication of this final report concludes the expedited consultation procedure conducted by AEMO in respect of the proposal to undertake the amendments to the following documents, effective 1 July 2025, to remove the SA jurisdictional metrology material related to controlled load profiles under the National Electricity Rules:

• Metrology Procedure: Part A.
• Metrology Procedure: Part B.
• MSATS Procedures: MDM Procedures.
• MSATS Procedures - Principles and Obligations for All Connection Points
• Standing Data for MSATS document.
• Service Level Procedure: Metering Data Provider Services

The publication of this draft report commences the expedited rules consultation procedure being undertaken by AEMO on the proposal to amend the following documents, effective 1 July 2025, to remove the SA jurisdictional metrology material related to controlled load profiles (CLPs) and metering installation reversion provisions under the National Electricity Rules (NER):

• Metrology Procedure: Part A.
• Metrology Procedure: Part B.
• MSATS Procedures: MDM Procedures.
• MSATS Procedures - Principles and Obligations for All Connection Points
• Standing Data for MSATS document.
• Service Level Procedure: Metering Data Provider Services
• In accordance with NER 8.9.3(b):

If a person considers that AEMO should switch to using the standard rules consultation procedure in respect of this Proposal, then the person can submit a request for AEMO to do so within 10 business days after publication of this Draft Report.

The Procedure Change Request must be sent to nem.retailprocedureconsultations@aemo.com.au by 5:00pm (Sydney time) 28 February 2025.

• The Procedure Change Request must include reasons why the person considers the Proposal is not a Non-material Proposal as defined in NER 8.9.1(a).
