Independent Expert Report - Directions to a SA generator during billing weeks 49 - 52 2021

AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 49 to 52 2021.

In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an independent expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the directed participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold.

AEMO nominated an independent expert on 17 March 2022 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Sami Aoude from IES Advisory Services as the independent expert to determine compensation.
