At 1632 hrs the Happy Valley - Morphett Vale East 275kV Line and the Morphett Vale - Cherry Gardens 275kV line tripped.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.

The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 321 MW at 1730 hrs.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR3 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following periods:
[1.] From 1500 hrs 17/12/2024 to 1900 hrs 17/12/2024.
The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 376 MW at 1630 hrs.
