NEM Local Temperature Alerts for SA from 02 Dec 2024 to 06 Dec 2024
AEMO's weather service provider has issued forecast temperatures equal to or greater than the NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels for listed weather stations below.

The NEM Local Temperature Alert Levels are:
Launceston Ti Tree Bend: 33 Deg C, Dalby Airport: 37 Deg C, for all other selected weather stations: 39 Deg C.
AEMO requests Market Participants to:
1. review the weather forecast in the local area where their generating units / MNSP converter stations are located and,
2. if required, update the available capacity in their dispatch offers or availability submissions consistent with the forecast temperatures.

Inter-regional transfer limit variation - Red Cliffs - Wemen 220 kV line - VIC region - 30/11/2024
A planned outage of Red Cliffs - Wemen 220 kV line in the VIC region was scheduled from 0400 hrs 30/11/2024 to 1430 hrs 30/11/2024.
The outage has been completed and Red Cliffs - Wemen 220 kV line returned to service at 1120 hrs 30/11/2024

This constraint set contains equations with the following interconnector on the LHS;

In order to maintain the power system in a secure operating state in the NSW region, AEMO has invoked the following constraint set I-QN_1000 from 0955 hrs until further notice.
This constraint set contains equations with the following interconnector on the LHS;

Planned outage of the Red Cliffs - Wemen - Kerang 220kV line in the VIC region on 30/11/2024.
The Red Cliffs - Wemen - Kerang 220kV line in the Victorian (VIC) region is planned to be out of service from 0400 hrs to 1430 hrs on 30/11/2024.
A credible contingency event during this planned outage may require:
- Load shedding in the Victorian outer grid; and/ or
- Market intervention, such as the issuing of directions.
