AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the SA region for the following periods:
1. From 0800 hrs to 1000 hrs 25/07/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 830 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 790 MW.
2. From 1030 hrs to 1130 hrs 25/07/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 846 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 798 MW.
3. From 1300 hrs to 1330 hrs 25/07/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 842 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 837 MW.
4. From 1400 hrs to 1530 hrs 25/07/2025.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 839 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 804 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time at which it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the SA region for the following periods:
1. From 0800 hrs to 1000 hrs 25/07/2025.

The Dapto - Kangaroo Valley (18) 330 kV line in the New South Wales (NSW) region is planned to be out of service from 0615 hrs to 1630 hrs 20/07/2025.
This outage is considered as a High Impact Outage (HIO).
During this planned outage:
- There is a potential for Energy and FCAS prices to approach the Market Price Cap.
- Power transfer will be restricted between VIC/Snowy and NSW.

The Dapto - Kangaroo Valley (18) 330 kV line in the New South Wales (NSW) region is planned to be out of service from 0615 hrs to 1630 hrs 20/07/2025.
This outage is considered as a High Impact Outage (HIO).
During this planned outage:

AEMO ELECTRICITY MARKET NOTICE
Direction - SA region 18/07/2025
In accordance with section 116 of the National Electricity Law, AEMO has issued a direction to a participant in the SA region. For the purposes of the National Electricity Rules this is a direction under clause 4.8.9(a1)(1).
The issue of the direction commences an AEMO intervention event. AEMO declares all trading intervals during the event to be intervention trading intervals, commencing from the interval ending 1435 hrs on 18/07/2025.
Intervention pricing does not apply to this AEMO intervention event.
AEMO may issue or revoke additional directions in order to meet the current requirement, unless sufficient market response is provided. A further market notice will be issued when all directions related to this requirement have been cancelled.
