New system normal constraint equation in Victoria for voltage collapse on trip of Ballarat - Waubra - Ararat line
In the event of a trip of the Ballarat - Waubra - Ararat 220 kV line the Ararat, Crowlands, Bulgana, Murra Warra and Waubra wind farms will be tripped off. AEMO has completed work on a revised voltage collapse limit for this contingency which will replace the existing 600 MW cap on these generators. FCAS constraint equations have also been developed for this contingency.
The energy constraint equation includes generators in south-west NSW and north-west Victoria on the left-hand side as well as VIC1-NSW1.
The following constraint equations will be implemented at 1000 hrs Monday 25th May 2020.

New system normal constraint equation in NSW for voltage collapse at Darlington Point
Following advice from TransGrid a new/revised system normal constraint equation
TransGrid has advised AEMO of a new voltage collapse limit in southern NSW. The voltage collapse occurs at Darlington Point on loss of the Darlington Point to Wagga (63) 330 kV line. The limit is for pre-contingent flow on 63 line. The constraint equation includes generators in south-west NSW and north-west Victoria on the left-hand side as well as Murraylink.
The following constraint equation will be implemented at 1000 hrs Monday 11th May 2020:

Revised System Strength limits in North Queensland
AEMO and Powerlink are continuing to investigate system strength requirements in North Queensland.
Through this work, AEMO and Powerlink have identified the need, depending on power system conditions, to constrain the output of three generators in North Queensland to maintain power system security.
The constraint equation is expected to limit generation from the three generators depending on power system conditions. The generators are Mt Emerald Wind Farm, Haughton Solar Farm and Sun Metals Solar Farm.
The constraint equations are: Q_NIL_STRGTH_MEWF, Q_NIL_STRGTH_HAUSF, Q_NIL_STRGTH_SMSF. These will be implemented at 1500hrs EST today.
The minimum generator combinations and limits are:
1 - 3 x Stanwell, 1 x Callide B, 1 x Callide C, 4 x Gladstone, 10 x Total Stanwell+Callide+Gladstone, 4 x Kareeya, 2 x Barron Gorge: 100% output

Increase in Heywood from SA to Vic limit from 500 to 550 MW
As a part of the Heywood Interconnector upgrade the increase in the upper transfer limit from SA to Victoria is dependent on the commissioning of the over frequency generation scheme (OFGS). The OFGS has now been commissioned AEMO has completed and detailed analysis of power system limits at higher transfers.
AEMO will increase the Heywood limit from SA to Vic (from the current 500 MW) to 550 MW and the combined (Heywood and Murraylink) SA to Vic limit from 650 to 700 MW at 1000 hrs on 18 Dec 2019.
The following constraint sets will be revoked:
I-SV_500_TEST
I-SVS_650_TEST
The following constraint sets will be invoked:

Reclassification of QNI SPAR as a credible contingency
After 25th August 2018 AEMO reclassified the loss of NSW to Qld (QNI) interconnected as a credible contingency when lightning is nearby (as per SO_OP_3715 section 11.4). The limits on QNI under this reclassification are based on the available FCAS in Queensland and NSW - normally the limit is between 300-400 MW in either direction.
Following an investigation TransGrid and Powerlink have made setting changes to the auto reclose settings on QNI and provided AEMO with a new reclassification limit on QNI. Now under similar conditions to 25th August the tripped single phases on QNI would reclose and NSW and Qld is not expected to separate.
The new limit of 850 MW will be activated at 1400 hrs November 15th 2018 for use in future reclassifications of QNI for a single phase fault on both circuits.
Constraint Set:
I-QNI_ONE_PHASE_N-2
