Planning and network regulation

AEMO works with the Energy Security Board and other market bodies to design and implement regulatory frameworks that promote the efficient development of the power system.  A key area of focus is reforms to give effect to system-wide planning in accordance with the recommendations of the Independent Review into the Future Security of the National Electricity Market (the Finkel review).

To inform this program of work, AEMO commissioned FTI-CL Energy to prepare two reports on international transmission planning frameworks.
