STPASA - Forecast Lack Of Reserve Level 3 (LOR3) in the SA Region on 30/06/2025
AEMO declares a Forecast LOR3 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the SA region for the following period[s]:
[1.] From 0730 hrs 30/06/2025 to 0930 hrs 30/06/2025.
The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 87 MW at 0800 hrs.
[2.] From 1700 hrs 30/06/2025 to 2300 hrs 30/06/2025.
The maximum load (other than interruptible loads) forecast to be interrupted is 112 MW at 1900 hrs.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

At 1050 hrs the Belmont - Loganlea 829 275 kV line was returned to service and previously (11/06/25) the Belmont (H3) No. 1 275 kV bus had returned to service.
The cause of this non-credible contingency event has been identified and AEMO is satisfied that another occurrence of this event is unlikely under the current circumstances.
AEMO will not reclassify this event as a credible contingency event.

Updated Victorian system normal voltage stability limit for the south-west Victoria
Refer to Market Notice 101368
AEMO has completed a review of the system normal voltage stability limit in the south-west Victoria as a result of Mortlake terminal station cut-in on the Haunted Gully to Tarrone 500 kV line.
The revised limit is increased by 100 MW on the cut-set from Haunted Gully to Moorabool and Mortlake to Moorabool 500 kV lines for flow towards Moorabool.
