In order to maintain the power system in a secure operating state in the NSW region, AEMO has invoked automated constraint set CA_BRIS_54F2D1C0 from 1850 hrs until further notice.
This constraint set contains equations with the following interconnector on the LHS;

The Forecast LOR2 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No. 115351 is cancelled at 1115 hrs 29/02/2024.

The Forecast LOR2 condition in the NSW region advised in AEMO Electricity Market Notice No.115348 has been updated at 0745 hrs to the following:
[1.] From 1630 hrs 29/02/2024 to 1800 hrs 29/02/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 736 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 616 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time at which it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

The minimum capacity reserve available is 584 MW.

The minimum capacity reserve available is 607 MW.

At 1425 hrs 28/02/2024 there was an unplanned outage of 275kV South Pine SVC.
Constraint set Q-SP_VC invoked from 1435 hrs.
The constraint set contains equations with the following interconnector on the LHS:
N-Q-MNSP1
NSW1-QLD1

AEMO declares a Forecast LOR2 condition under clause 4.8.4(b) of the National Electricity Rules for the NSW region for the following period:
[1.] From 1600 hrs 29/02/2024 to 1900 hrs 29/02/2024.
The forecast capacity reserve requirement is 1186 MW.
The minimum capacity reserve available is 602 MW.
AEMO is seeking a market response.
AEMO has not yet estimated the latest time it would need to intervene through an AEMO intervention event.

Non-credible contingency event - QLD region - 28/02/2024
At 1029 hrs the Tully - Cardwell No.7389 132 kV Line tripped and auto reclosed and Ross - Woree No. 8905 275 kV Line tripped and auto reclosed.
AEMO did not instruct load shedding.
AEMO has not been advised of any disconnection of bulk electrical load.
The cause of this non credible contingency event is not known at this stage.
