This notice informs all Registered Participants and interested parties (Consulted Persons) that AEMO has concluded its consultation on the structure of Participant fees to recover costs for the introduction and facilitation of the Consumer Data Right (CDR), and the performance of the CDR functions by AEMO. Under clause 2.11.1(be) of the National Electricity Rules (Rules), the introduction and facilitation of the CDR, requiring AEMO to carry out CDR functions, is taken to have been determined to be a declared NEM project under clause 2.11.1(ba) of the Rules (CDR declared NEM project).
This consultation was conducted by AEMO for the purposes of clauses 2.11.1(bf) and 8.9 of the Rules and has effect only for the purposes set out in the Rules.
AEMO has made a Final Determination on the structure of Participant fees for the CDR declared NEM project and would like to thank stakeholders for their engagement throughout this consultation process.
