AEMO is conducting a minor consultation on the Market Suspension Pricing Methodology (MSPM).
This consultation is being conducted under clause 3.14.5(e) of the National Electricity Rules (NER), in accordance with the Rules consultation requirements detailed in clause 8.9.4 of the NER.
Matter under Consultation
The matter for consultation is the MSPM, more particularly remove MSPM reference to the number of FCAS markets i.e., from ‘eight FCAS Markets’ to ‘FCAS markets’ due to the introduction of 1 second FCAS services in October 2023.
