AEMO is implementing this Procedure change to comply with the AEMC’s DWGM interim LNG storage measures rule change. As a consequence of this Rule change AEMO is consulting on changes to the Wholesale Market Gas Scheduling Procedures and the new Wholesale Market LNG Reserve Procedures.
The Procedures must be in place by 1 March 2023, as required by the Rules, to allow refilling of AEMO’s LNG reserve for Winter 2023. Therefore AEMO is undertaking an expedited Procedure change.
