Matters under consultation
AEMO consulted with industry on proposed changes to the Operational Forecasting documents (Documents) for the purposes of the National Electricity Amendment (Integrating energy storage systems into the NEM) Rule 2021 No. 13 (IESS Rule).
In summary, the Changes are to:
- Include new NER clauses and update existing references to NER clauses.
- Update material in respect of quality of life, as well as to align to other AEMO documentation.
- Insert an additional description on the Local Limit Signal for clarity.
- Include the option for solar generators to directly provide a Power Conversion Curve Table in the Australian Solar Energy Forecasting System Energy Conversion Model.
