Established under clause 3.18.5 of the National Electricity Rules, the Settlement Residue Committee is responsible for reporting on settlement residue auctions and approving changes to the rules of the residue auctions in the National Electricity Market. The committee is also responsible for the level of fees AEMO may charge for administering these auctions.
