Independent Expert Report - Directions to SA generators between 25 and 26 Apr 2017
On 25 and 26 April 2017, AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia.
In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (c)(1), AEMO is required to appoint an independent expert to assess and determine the additional compensation claims for the Directed Participant that exceeds the $20,000 threshold and exceeds the $100,000 aggregate threshold.
AEMO nominated an independent expert on 29 June 2017 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Euan Morton at Synergies Economic Consulting Pty Ltd as the independent expert to determine compensation for Directions in South Australia on 25 and 26 April 2017.
